About the role

The Commandant Ordinance College in Malir Cantonment, Karachi is inviting applications for several permanent positions across its support and administrative functions. Vacancies include Civil/Mechanical Drivers, Compositors, a Naib Qasid (assistant clerk) and a USM staff member. Selected candidates will work on‑site within a government‑run educational institution.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Heavy Transport Vehicles (HTV) for the college’s logistics needs.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure safe transportation of staff and materials.
• Prepare printed and typed documents, manage composition tasks, and meet departmental deadlines.
• Assist senior clerical staff with filing, record‑keeping, and general office support.
• Carry out duties assigned to the USM position as defined by the college administration.

Required profile

• Driver: Minimum Primary education (preferably Matric), valid HTV driving licence, at least one year driving experience on HTV, and a technical diploma.
• Compositor: Minimum Matric, at least two years relevant job experience, and successful passage of the departmental entrance examination.
• Naib Qasid: Minimum Primary education (preferably Matric) and successful passage of the departmental entrance examination.
• USM: Minimum Primary education (preferably Matric) and successful passage of the departmental entrance examination.
