Network Security Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer on a contract basis to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work remotely while collaborating with global teams to protect critical data and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor network traffic for anomalies and respond to incidents in real time.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security best practices into network architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security engineering or a comparable role.
• Proven ability to configure and manage security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
