NOC Manager

About the role

The NOC Manager will lead Mobiz’s 24×7 Network Operations Center, ensuring continuous visibility and rapid response for client infrastructure across cloud, network and endpoint environments. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the role blends strategic oversight of monitoring tools with hands‑on team leadership and incident escalation.

Key responsibilities

• Own 24×7 monitoring of all client environments, including Azure cloud services, firewalls, switches, WAN links, servers and endpoints.
• Define and maintain alert thresholds, escalation paths and on‑call runbooks in partnership with engineering leads.
• Manage the full alert lifecycle—detection, triage, escalation, resolution and post‑incident review—using ServiceNow ITSM.
• Drive alert‑noise reduction through tuning, suppression policies and automation, targeting a false‑positive rate below 10%.
• Ensure health, coverage and consistent agent deployment of the Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) platform across all tenants.
• Maintain real‑time NOC dashboards and status visibility for internal stakeholders and client contacts.
• Serve as senior escalation authority for P1 and P2 incidents and lead Major Incident Management bridge calls.
• Coordinate cross‑functional escalations to engineering towers and enforce MTTA and SLA targets.

Required profile

• Proven operational experience in a managed‑services or enterprise NOC environment.
• Strong automation mindset with a track record of reducing manual processes.
• Leadership presence capable of maintaining discipline under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with engineering, clients and senior management.
