NOC Manager – Lead Network Operations Center

About the role

VaporVM is seeking an experienced NOC Manager to lead its Network Operations Center in Lahore. The role is responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance and security of the company’s critical systems and services through 24/7 monitoring and support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of NOC engineers and analysts across multiple shifts.
• Manage 24/7 monitoring tools, maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinate response to major incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive remediation.
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures, implement automation and follow ITIL best practices.
• Oversee change, problem and incident management processes.
• Report operational metrics and incident summaries to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 7–8 years of experience in Network Operations, IT Infrastructure or Systems Engineering.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or team‑lead experience within a NOC environment.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Required skills

• TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs.
• Monitoring tools: Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Virtualisation: VMware, Hyper‑V.
• ITIL framework, incident, problem and change management.
