Operations & Documentation Executive

About the role

Well Shipping & Logistics is hiring a full-time Operations & Documentation Executive in Karachi to handle daily import/export operations and shipping documentation. The role requires full attendance and exclusive availability from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM Pakistan time.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily import/export operations and shipping documentation.
• Prepare and review bills of lading, shipping instructions, pre-alerts, delivery orders and related documents.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, transporters, customs brokers and customers.
• Track shipments and follow up on arrivals, customs clearance, cargo releases and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and give customers timely updates.
• Monitor deadlines and resolve operational issues quickly to avoid delays and extra charges.

Required profile

• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding operations and documentation.
• Good written and spoken English, especially in professional email communication.
• Sound understanding of shipping terminology and import/export procedures.
• Experience handling USA/Canada shipments is an advantage.
• Full-time commitment only; part-time applicants and those planning other daytime work will not be considered.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and follow-up skills.
