Operations Support Engineer (L2)

About the role

Teknosys is seeking a proactive, customer‑focused Operations Support Engineer to join its Application & Operations Support team. You will ensure the stability, availability, and performance of business‑critical systems and applications while providing 24/7 production support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for enterprise systems and customer‑facing applications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application, hardware, and infrastructure issues promptly.
• Monitor production environments, respond to alerts, and manage incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring problems and implement preventive measures.
• Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog) to track system health and performance.
• Support deployments, releases, and operational maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with development, networking, and system administration teams to resolve cross‑functional issues.
• Maintain knowledge‑base articles, runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in rotational shifts, weekend coverage, and on‑call support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in application support, technical support, or system administration.
• Experience supporting production environments and handling live incidents.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered code assistants, automated testing, and AI‑driven DevSecOps tools is a plus.
