Oracle FLEXCUBE Subject Matter Expert (SME)

About the role

The Oracle FLEXCUBE Subject Matter Expert will lead end‑to‑end implementation projects and provide L2/L3 production support for core banking solutions. The role involves close collaboration with business users, technical teams, and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in full‑cycle FLEXCUBE implementations, including requirement gathering, fit‑gap analysis, solution design workshops and configuration of modules.
• Prepare functional specifications, business requirement documents, test cases and deployment artefacts.
• Support data migration, SIT, UAT, cut‑over and go‑live activities, and coordinate with Oracle Support for issue resolution.
• Provide L2/L3 application support, troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and manage change requests.
• Act as functional SME for core banking modules, conduct impact assessments and support release planning.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of Oracle FLEXCUBE experience with at least two full‑cycle implementations.
• Strong background in production support, upgrades, migrations and enhancements.
• Banking domain experience in retail or corporate banking.
• Ability to interact directly with business users, operations teams and senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Oracle FLEXCUBE product architecture knowledge.
• SQL / PL‑SQL query writing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with FLEXCUBE interfaces, APIs and web services.
• Understanding of batch processing, EOD/EOM cycles and integration troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments.
