About the role

Indus College of Law is seeking a part‑time, on‑site Lawyer to provide comprehensive legal support to the institution. The role blends advisory work with occasional teaching responsibilities, ensuring that the college operates within all applicable legal frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, policies, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written opinions on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Advise senior management on governance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
• Deliver guest lectures, seminars, or mentorship sessions on practical law and professional ethics.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to align college operations with legal standards.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney with a recognized law degree.
• Strong background in contract law, regulatory compliance, and institutional governance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of explaining complex legal concepts clearly.
• Effective organizational and time‑management skills for handling multiple matters on a part‑time basis.
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams while maintaining confidentiality.
