Patient Engagement Outbound Specialist

About the role

The Patient Engagement Outbound Specialist will join a healthcare team in Karachi to make outbound calls to patients. The role focuses on scheduling appointments, confirming visits, providing care‑plan information and encouraging participation in preventive programs while ensuring a courteous and empathetic experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls for appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow‑ups.
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance details in the system.
• Explain healthcare services, benefits and next steps to patients.
• Document all interactions promptly in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Follow scripts, SOPs and HIPAA guidelines to maintain compliance.
• Escalate patient concerns when necessary and meet call‑quality and productivity metrics.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in the US healthcare industry or a patient‑engagement call center.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a patient‑focused attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
