Pediatrician – Full‑time Emergency & Primary Care

About the role

ChildLife Foundation is seeking a full‑time Pediatrician to join its emergency and primary‑care services in Multan. You will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children ranging from neonates to adolescents in a high‑volume, resource‑constrained environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed medical histories, physical examinations and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based management plans for acute and chronic paediatric conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Supervise junior clinical staff and ensure accurate medical record‑keeping.
• Participate in family counseling, health education and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency or postgraduate training in Pediatrics.
• Valid medical licence and good standing with regulatory authorities.
• Experience or training in Neonatology, especially care of critically ill newborns.
• Proven ability to work in high‑volume emergency settings and adapt to resource‑limited environments.
• Experience in public‑sector or NGO health settings is an advantage.
