People & Culture Intern (HR)

About the role

Free Mind Marketing, a digital marketing agency with over a decade of experience in the MENA and Canadian markets, is offering a 6-month People & Culture internship in Islamabad, Pakistan. The internship leads to a full-time position based on performance and suits fresh graduates, final-semester students or early-career HR professionals. It is a hybrid, agency-based role covering recruitment, HR operations, onboarding, performance management, learning and development and workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment: publish job ads, source candidates through LinkedIn and job portals, screen applications, coordinate interviews and maintain recruitment trackers.
• HR administration: maintain employee records and databases, support onboarding, attendance and leave records, and handle confidential employee information.
• Employee engagement: support recognition initiatives, surveys, team-building events and feedback collection.
• Learning and development: coordinate training, track participation and certifications, and support probation check-ins.
• Performance management: help maintain review schedules, KPI trackers and appraisal documentation.
• HR technology: support HR systems such as Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, Zoho Payroll, Zoho Cliq, Google Workspace and monday.com, and help prepare basic HR reports.

Required profile

• Last-semester students or fresh graduates interested in a career in HR.
• Basic knowledge of HR is enough; eagerness to learn and take initiative is required.
• Good communication skills and alignment with the role.
