People & Talent Lead (Remote, Pakistan)

About the role

A fast-growing e-commerce company that runs a portfolio of consumer brands on Amazon and TikTok Shop, with a remote team in Pakistan, is hiring a People & Talent Lead. The role reports directly to the CEO and includes holding leadership accountable to the people commitments made. It is remote, full-time and open to Pakistan only.

Key responsibilities

• Onboarding: write a 30/60/90-day plan, assign a buddy and run day-7, 30 and 90 check-ins for every new hire.
• Performance reviews: own the review calendar, prepare every review and follow up overdue ones until 100% completion.
• Motivation: run a monthly pulse survey, set up 1:1s for everyone and keep recognition simple.
• Retention: spot flight risk early, run stay and exit interviews and keep salary benchmarks current.
• Growth: build career paths for core roles, maintain a learning budget and training calendar, and coach new managers.
• Recruiting support: write job descriptions, screening questions and first-round screens, and prepare offer letters with the recruiting partner.
• People ops basics: maintain the handbook, policies, records and clean offboarding.

Required profile

• 4+ years in HR, people operations or talent development, with at least 2 years owning onboarding and performance reviews end to end.
• A review cycle you ran to 100% completion, with the numbers before and after.
• Experience supporting a remote Pakistani team working for an American company.
• Confidence to hold senior leaders, including the founder, to deadlines they own.
• Strong written English.
• Preferred: a degree in HR, organizational psychology or business from LUMS, IBA, CBM or a similar institution.
