Performance Marketing Specialist (PPC)

About the role

We are an e‑commerce business selling packaging supplies and need a hands‑on Performance Marketing Specialist to own and scale our paid search and Shopping programs. This is a sole‑contributor position where you will manage campaigns end‑to‑end without a team underneath you.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, build, and optimise Google Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaigns against ROAS and revenue targets.
• Manage the Google Merchant Center feed – resolve disapprovals, optimise titles, attributes and images, and structure the feed for maximum visibility.
• Control daily bids, budgets and pacing, reallocating spend toward top‑performing products and categories.
• Conduct keyword research, create negative keyword lists and continuously refine account structure.
• Design and execute A/B tests on ad copy, bidding strategies and campaign architecture.
• Maintain conversion tracking (GA4, Google Ads conversions) and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Analyse performance data and produce weekly/monthly reports on spend, ROAS, CPA and growth opportunities.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Google Ads and Shopping changes and adapt quickly.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing Google Ads accounts with a strong e‑commerce/Shopping component.
• Proven ability to run accounts solo and achieve ROAS/CPA targets without team support.
• Solid knowledge of Google Merchant Center and product‑feed management.
• Comfort with GA4 and conversion‑tracking fundamentals.
• Strong Excel/Sheets skills and a data‑driven mindset.
• Self‑directed, resourceful and meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
• Google Ads certification is a plus.
