Pharmacy Manager – Full‑time, On‑site

About the role

The Pharmacy Manager will lead the pharmacy department of Al Hamra Medical Centre in Karachi. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures safe, accurate dispensing and supports optimal pharmacotherapy for patients across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy staff, organise work schedules and coordinate daily workflow.
• Verify prescriptions, provide medication counseling and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain compliance with Pakistani pharmacy regulations, medication‑safety standards and internal policies.
• Oversee inventory control, monitor stock levels, manage supplier relationships and support budgeting and cost‑control activities.
• Implement quality‑improvement initiatives and ensure proper storage, documentation and record‑keeping.
• Train, mentor and develop pharmacy team members to uphold high professional standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Pharm D degree from an accredited institution and a valid pharmacy licence in Pakistan.
• Proven experience managing pharmacy operations, including staff supervision, workflow coordination and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practice, pharmacology and safe dispensing procedures.
• Familiarity with Pakistani healthcare regulations and medication‑safety standards.
• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with attention to detail.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, confidentiality and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy or hospital information systems.
