About the role

The Pharmacy Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day activities of a remote pharmacy, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality patient care. This full‑time position reports to senior management and works closely with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, maintaining efficiency and legal compliance.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and patient experience.
• Monitor inventory levels, procure pharmaceuticals and supplies, and ensure stock availability.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to introduce new processes and services.
• Ensure quality assurance and safety standards are met in line with regulations.
• Analyze performance metrics and produce reports for continuous improvement.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing pharmacy operations.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy law, ethics, and professional standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field.
• State licensure as a pharmacist (preferred).
• 6‑10 years of pharmacy experience, including managerial or supervisory roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy management software and systems.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
