Postgraduate Trainee – Clinical Research (Rawalpindi)

About the role

This position offers a postgraduate trainee opportunity in clinical research at the Pakistan Railway Hospital, Rawalpindi. The role is designed for recent MBBS graduates who have completed FCPS‑1 in a relevant specialty and wish to develop research and clinical skills under experienced faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clinical teams across specialties such as General Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, and Anaesthesia.
• Collect, analyse, and maintain research data while ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
• Support the preparation of presentations, publications, and academic reports based on study findings.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to strategy discussions aimed at advancing research goals.
• Coordinate workflow between different project phases to streamline communication.

Required profile

• MBBS degree with valid PMDC/PMC registration.
• Completion of FCPS‑1 in a relevant specialty.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and professional ethics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
