About the role
The Pricing Specialist will support the Senior Manager in managing the full pricing lifecycle for METRO Pakistan, ensuring accurate price collection, validation, correction, implementation and monitoring within agreed service levels. This role contributes to profitability improvement through pricing analysis and promotional optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Senior Manager in executing the complete pricing process from market price collection to implementation.
- Conduct pricing analysis to aid business decisions and enhance profitability.
- Optimize promotional pricing and assess campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare and deliver regular pricing reports to stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, trade promotions, and new product launches.
- Perform price benchmarking and maintain pricing indexes.
Required profile
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent higher education.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in pricing or related functions.
- Strong stakeholder management and result orientation.
- Growth mindset with problem‑analysis capabilities.
