Principal React Native Engineer

About the role

The company is looking for a highly skilled Senior React Native Engineer who is a strong self-starter and can take ownership of complex mobile initiatives from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate has excellent technical depth, communicates clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and is passionate about building world-class mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and maintain advanced mobile applications using React Native.
• Lead design decisions and ensure mobile engineering best practices across the team.
• Build high-performance components and reusable libraries for cross-platform use.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs (REST, GraphQL).
• Work with product, design and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile features.
• Clarify requirements, propose solutions and drive alignment with stakeholders.
• Participate in and lead code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
• Improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Implement robust testing practices (unit, integration, E2E).
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance and platform-specific issues on iOS and Android.
• Ensure apps meet accessibility, security and performance criteria.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of mobile development experience, including 3+ years with React Native.
• Strong self-starter with a proactive ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments.
