Process Lead – SMD (Manufacturing)

About the role

Join a global leader in the tobacco‑free future as a Process Lead – SMD, based in Akora Khattak, Pakistan. You will drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, coach teams on IWS capabilities, and own key management systems for production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and lead IWS capability building and system deployment across the department.
• Deploy Autonomous Maintenance tools and manage the Centerline Management system.
• Train team members on documentation for CLE and establish change‑over standards for all SKUs.
• Review change‑over critiques, coach shift teams, and implement improvement actions.
• Own Change Management DMS, validation processes, and benchmark across plants.
• Analyze line data, create loss trees, and prioritize loss‑elimination opportunities using loss allocation and S‑shape tools.
• Lead root‑cause problem‑solving for chronic losses on the line(s).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• Strong practical experience with continuous‑improvement systems such as IWS, WCM, TPM and Six Sigma.
• Good understanding of mechanical processes, both hands‑on and theoretical.
• Effective communication, coaching and training abilities.
