Procurement Executive – University (Lahore)

About the role

The Procurement Executive will support Riphah International University by managing the sourcing and acquisition of goods and services required for daily operations. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments to understand needs, obtain competitive quotations, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery while adhering to university policies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality, cost‑effectiveness, and reliability.
• Solicit, compare, and negotiate quotations, pricing, terms, and contracts.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement requests accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with internal teams to anticipate material and service requirements.
• Maintain long‑term supplier relationships and support sustainable sourcing strategies.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment, and prevent shortages or overstock.
• Maintain up‑to‑date procurement records, including invoices and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
• Resolve supplier issues, discrepancies, and delivery delays proactively.
• Analyze spending data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Prepare detailed procurement reports and purchase summaries for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Up to three years of relevant procurement experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively across departments.
