Procurement Lead – Fleet Services

About the role

The Citizens Foundation is looking for an experienced Procurement Lead to oversee end‑to‑end procurement, contracting and vendor management for its nationwide fleet portfolio. The role will drive strategic sourcing, cost control and operational readiness across vehicle acquisition, maintenance, restoration and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of vehicle acquisition, replacement, maintenance contracts, restoration projects, fuel programs, tracking systems and spare parts.
• Lead sourcing, bidding, evaluation, negotiation and contract award while ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
• Maintain strategic relationships with oil marketing companies, tracking providers, manufacturers, dealerships, repair workshops and restoration contractors.
• Evaluate vendor performance, benchmark costs, renew contracts and develop vendors, including EV initiatives.
• Lead large‑scale fleet restoration projects across multiple cities, handling planning, budgeting, quality inspections and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with fleet operations, finance, logistics and external vendors to ensure timely execution of contracts, payments and project milestones.
• Develop and maintain reporting on restoration progress, payment tracking, contract renewals and procurement savings.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen with proven vendor‑management capability.
• Extensive experience in fleet‑related procurement and contract administration.
• Demonstrated project‑management skills, especially in multi‑vendor, multi‑city initiatives.
• Hands‑on knowledge of vehicle acquisition, maintenance, restoration and tracking solutions.
