Manager Supply Planning and Monitoring

About the role

The Manager Supply Planning and Monitoring will ensure seamless material availability and production execution across local and international divisions, including toll manufacturing. This role directly impacts revenue, working‑capital optimisation and overall supply‑chain performance for the business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and develop the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in SAP, aligning production with demand, capacity and inventory targets.
• Implement Days of Coverage (DoC) and safety‑stock strategies to optimise inventory levels, minimise waste and avoid stock‑outs.
• Analyse slow‑moving and obsolete stock (SLOB) and work with demand, commercial, finance and procurement teams on liquidation or rework plans.
• Coordinate with procurement and operations to reduce lead‑time risks, resolve capacity constraints and support new product development or consumer‑promotion launches.
• Conduct weekly demand‑supply reconciliation meetings, monitor real‑time production schedules and adjust dynamically to market fluctuations.
• Collaborate with toll‑manufacturing partners, quality‑control and regulatory teams to ensure compliance, especially for export orders.
• Provide data‑driven insights to senior management and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives such as Lean.
• Mentor reporting executives and lead cross‑functional supply‑chain projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in supply planning, production scheduling or related functions within a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP (MRP, MPS, production order management).
• Experience with Power BI and SAP dashboards for automated reporting.
