Procurement Manager - Strategic Sourcing & Inventory Control

About the role

Our client, Dekalb Trade Voice, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing and inventory control for manufacturing sectors in Sialkot, Pakistan, including sportswear, surgical instruments and leather goods. The role oversees local and international vendor negotiations, purchase order management and demand planning while managing a team of three.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging and accessories.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and payment terms to ensure cost‑effective procurement without compromising quality.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, monitor shipments and maintain accurate records of deliveries and factory stock levels.
• Coordinate with production, quality control, store management and accounts to align procurement activities with manufacturing and financial requirements.
• Maintain procurement documentation and digital ledgers using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Evaluate supplier performance and market trends to mitigate risks.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of three procurement professionals.
• Plan demand forecasts with production and sales teams to optimise stock levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in purchasing or store management within manufacturing domains.
• Strong knowledge of the Sialkot market and proven ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
