Procurement Specialist – Construction Materials

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist focused on construction materials for a wastewater treatment plant project in Faisalabad. The role will ensure timely, cost‑effective, and quality‑driven acquisition of all required materials, equipment, and services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement for project materials, equipment, tools, and services.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers, contractors, and vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Request and compare quotations, negotiate competitive prices and commercial terms.
• Prepare purchase orders, monitor order placement, and follow up on deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers to track delivery schedules and resolve any delays.
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, logistics, finance, and other departments to meet procurement needs.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and alternative sources without compromising quality.
• Ensure purchased items meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Support procurement of both local and imported materials and liaise with logistics as needed.
• Provide regular updates on procurement status, pending orders, deliveries, and risks.
