Product Operations Manager - Quik Shopping

About the role

Careem is looking for a strategic, analytical and execution-driven Product Operations Manager to lead the team behind the Careem Quik in-app shopping experience. Situated within the Merchandising function, the role bridges Product, Engineering and Commercial teams, improving customer engagement, conversion, operational efficiency and product innovation. The manager leads a team of Product Operations Specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimise in-app engagement and conversion metrics such as CTR, Add-to-Basket Rate and conversion, using data-driven insights, A/B testing and experimentation
• Analyse customer behaviour and the user funnel to improve product discovery and conversion
• Partner with Product and Engineering on roadmaps, feature launches, testing, launch readiness, rollout and post-launch monitoring
• Streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks and build scalable processes and quality assurance frameworks
• Lead AI adoption in Merchandising, implementing AI-powered tools and automation
• Manage, mentor and develop the Product Operations team and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data and Commercial teams

Required profile

• 5+ years in Product Operations, E-commerce, Growth or related roles, preferably in quick commerce, e-commerce or marketplaces
• 1-2+ years of people management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field preferred

Required skills

• SQL (essential)
• BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker
• Project management tools such as Jira and Trello
• Funnel analysis, conversion optimisation and A/B testing
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI and automation
