Product Sourcing Specialist - U.S. Market (On-Site)

About the role

A full-time, on-site Product Sourcing Specialist is sought to identify high-quality products and reliable suppliers for the U.S. market. The role covers everything from first contact through shipment, supporting the sourcing process end to end. Intermediate-level professionals and motivated early-career candidates are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify product opportunities suited to the U.S. market, based on demand, competition and profitability
• Source and evaluate suppliers and manufacturers through Alibaba and other trusted B2B platforms
• Compare pricing, MOQs, product quality, lead times and shipping options, and request quotations, samples, certifications and technical information
• Support supplier vetting and verification, and negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules
• Verify product compliance with U.S. standards and regulations (e.g. CPSC, FDA, FCC)
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, quotes and sourcing activity, and follow up on orders, production updates and shipments
• Continuously research new products, trends and dependable suppliers

Required profile

• Intermediate level; entry-level candidates with strong potential are also considered
• Analytical, detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Dedicated, responsible and curious, with a genuine interest in U.S. market sourcing and eCommerce

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Alibaba and other B2B sourcing platforms
• Solid understanding of product pricing, MOQs, lead times and supplier communication
• Communication, analytical and negotiation skills
• Preferred: familiarity with Amazon US, Walmart Marketplace and eBay US; experience with Global Sources, Made-in-China or 1688; basic knowledge of import/export, Incoterms and U.S. customs; understanding of private label and wholesale sourcing
