About the role
Petra Brands is looking for a Product Strategy Analyst to drive data‑focused product research for its consumer packaged goods portfolio. The role centers on early trend detection and translating market insights into actionable product pipelines, especially within e‑commerce and Amazon marketplaces.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a research system that identifies early market trends with at least 70% accuracy.
- Produce a monthly report with ten actionable, trend‑based product ideas.
- Compile a Monthly Market Recap & Competitor Overview, analyzing listings, pricing, and reviews.
- Conduct deep‑dive research on trending products across categories such as party supplies and eco‑friendly cleaning.
- Utilize Amazon tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, AMZScout) to extract and interpret marketplace data.
- Collaborate with product development to turn trend reports into high‑demand concepts.
- Support Amazon listing optimization through keyword research and copywriting.
- Monitor post‑launch performance metrics and coordinate with launch and inventory teams.
Required profile
- Proven experience in data‑driven product research, preferably in e‑commerce or Amazon marketplaces.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to predict trends and translate insights into product ideas.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with product, launch, and inventory teams.
- Detail‑oriented and able to produce regular, data‑rich reports.
