Program Officer – Project Management & Development

About the role

The regional office in Peshawar seeks a dedicated Program Officer to lead project management and development initiatives across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and beyond. The role involves frequent travel to multiple districts and requires strong analytical and coordination skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design innovative interventions based on evidence, including needs assessments, situational analyses, and stakeholder mapping.
• Prepare technical presentations, briefs, log frames, theories of change, results frameworks, and other program documentation.
• Develop detailed work plans and implementation strategies for assigned projects.
• Provide technical guidance to implementation teams and ensure adherence to approved designs.
• Monitor project progress, review reports, and recommend adaptive management actions.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the line supervisor or management.

Required profile

• At least a 16‑year qualification (bachelor’s degree) in Management Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in public‑sector organizations or consulting services, preferably within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• Willingness to travel frequently to districts within and outside the province.
