Programme Associate (FAP) – Temporary Hiring

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Programme Associate to support the Family Assistance Programme (FAP) focused on German family reunification, resettlement and evacuation cases. Working under the Senior Project Associate (Quality Control Monitoring), you will help streamline visa application services and ensure accurate case management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist beneficiaries daily at the FAP Center and manage their case files.
• Register new family reunification appointments and create case files in Dynamics 365.
• Collect biometric data, scan, photocopy, translate, and attach supporting documents.
• Conduct applicant interviews, record family histories, and prepare accurate interview reports.
• Schedule and confirm family reunification appointments, generate ad‑hoc reports, and support logistics.
• Maintain the FAP case management system with up‑to‑date application and biographical data.
• Report any quality issues promptly to the Quality Control Assistant.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures and handle confidential information.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with beneficiaries and team members.
• Capacity to work under supervision in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Dynamics 365 or similar case‑management software.
• Accurate data‑entry and record‑keeping abilities.
• Experience collecting biometric data and conducting interviews.
• Document scanning, photocopying, translation, and basic photography.
• Appointment scheduling and report generation.
