Project Analyst – Climate Resilience

About the role

The Project Analyst will support UNDP Pakistan’s Resilience, Environment and Climate Change Unit (RECCU) in delivering climate‑resilient development projects across the country. The role focuses on strengthening capacities of vulnerable communities to adapt to climate impacts and integrating environmental considerations into national development planning.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of climate‑change and environmental projects.
• Collect, analyse, and report project data to track progress against UNDP’s Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework.
• Support stakeholder engagement with government agencies, civil society, and local partners.
• Prepare briefing notes, project briefs, and technical documents for internal and external audiences.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives and lessons‑learned documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in environmental studies, development studies, economics, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project analysis, monitoring and evaluation, or climate‑change programming.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills
