Project Contract Manager

About the role

The Project Contract Manager will be the primary interface for contract management within Grid Solutions Business, supporting Grid Systems Integration projects across Pakistan and the broader MEA region. The role covers the full contract lifecycle from award to close‑out and provides occasional commercial support during tendering for complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender and contract documents and implement contract‑management procedures aligned with company best practices.
• Provide contract and risk analysis, bid clarifications, and correspondence to tendering and operational teams.
• Educate project and operations teams on contractual rights and obligations and support them from project start‑up through close‑out.
• Ensure contracts are fully performed, closed, and any contractual issues are resolved.
• Coordinate project planning with the Planning & Controls department and pursue extensions, change orders, and claim entitlements.
• Identify, analyse, and manage project risks and opportunities from a contractual perspective.
• Draft and align sub‑contracts with main contract terms, manage change, claims, and dispute‑resolution processes.
• Oversee project insurance compliance, monitor claims, and handle insurance documentation.
• Establish project‑specific contract‑management tools, registers, and procedures for tracking variations, claims, bonds, warranties, and correspondence.
• Support project teams in contractual negotiations, meetings, and dispute resolution.
• Assist regional contract‑management leadership with ITO reviews for critical tenders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract management for large‑scale infrastructure or grid integration projects.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle, change management, claims handling, and dispute resolution.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple functions, stakeholders, and project management teams.
• Experience in reviewing tender documents, risk analysis, and providing commercial inputs.
• Knowledge of project insurance requirements and insurance claim processes.
