Project Manager – WASH & Climate Resilience

About the role

ACTED Pakistan is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of WASH and climate‑resilience activities in Tharparkar/Sajawal. The role provides technical, managerial and strategic oversight to ensure high‑quality, climate‑informed interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and day‑to‑day management of the project, ensuring timely, quality and cost‑effective delivery.
• Lead project planning, implementation, monitoring and adaptive management across all components.
• Supervise project staff and technical teams, coordinating with internal departments and external partners.
• Identify implementation risks and develop mitigation measures while ensuring compliance with donor, ACTED and government requirements.
• Oversee WASH programming, guiding assessments, infrastructure planning, rehabilitation and community‑based interventions with a climate‑resilient approach.
• Integrate climate science, risk modelling and locally identified adaptation priorities into project design.
• Manage financial, HR, administration and logistics functions for the project.

Required profile

• Senior professional with extensive experience working in Sindh, especially Tharparkar.
• Established relationships with relevant government departments and local stakeholders.
• Proven ability to coordinate between communities, authorities, technical experts, development partners and project teams.
• Strong internal collaboration skills with reporting, database, engineering and technical units.
