Senior Executive – HSE & Sustainability

About the role

Jubilee Life Insurance is hiring a Senior Executive to cover both health, safety and environment (HSE) and sustainability matters. The role combines risk and hazard prevention, fire safety and emergency preparedness with carbon footprint accounting, ESG reporting and carbon emission management across its locations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify risks and hazards for employees, visitors and external service providers and run fire, elevator and earthquake emergency drills
• Support management in developing HSE policy and guidelines, and implement the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system
• Run incident and accident investigations with root cause analysis, and draft HSE communications
• Maintain fire alarms and fire extinguishers across locations, manage fumigation services and prepare fire and safety training for safety captains
• Manage payments through AMS for fire alarm maintenance, extinguisher refilling, CCTV maintenance, fumigation and security guard salaries
• Collect, consolidate and report carbon footprint data, design carbon emission management strategies (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and use carbon management tools to track greenhouse gas emissions
• Run sustainability campaigns, provide ESG data to the Finance Department under SECP and AKDN reporting standards, and present ESG performance to the Board of Directors and AKDN

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental sciences, sustainability or a related field; a master's degree preferred
• 5-6 years of experience in HSE, sustainability, ESG reporting or carbon management
• Strong understanding of carbon footprint accounting, ESG concepts and environmental sustainability practices

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including dashboards, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas and data visualization
