About the role
A manufacturer in Pakistan is hiring a Purchaser who reports directly to the Manager Purchase. The role covers sourcing, price negotiation, purchase order issuance and coordination with suppliers and the store department. The position is in-person.
Key responsibilities
- Collect quotations from the market and visit suppliers to confirm rates.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and collect samples for approval.
- Purchase directly from the market and verify item prices.
- Issue purchase orders after Director approval and make payments.
- Reconcile the supplier's ledger with the Accounts Department.
- Verify store receipt vouchers against delivery orders and coordinate with the Store Department to maintain the stock statement.
- Supervise stock taking and valuation at the end of the financial year.
Required profile
- B.A. or B.Com degree.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in industrial manufacturing.
Required skills
- Full command of the score inventory system.
Pay is Rs 50,000 to 60,000 per month. Candidates apply by sending their CV to the company's HR contact.
