QA Manager (Quality Assurance)

About the role

Computer House is looking for a QA Manager in Lahore to strengthen the quality of its products, services and delivery processes. The role sets practical quality standards, checks that work meets agreed requirements, identifies risks early and supports continuous improvement. It uses Quality Management Systems and quality control practices to plan reviews, document results, investigate issues and help teams prevent recurring defects. The position does not require direct people management; instead it coordinates quality activities with contributors and promotes shared accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve quality plans, procedures, work instructions and acceptance criteria, and prepare inspection and test plans covering scope, methods, expected results and ownership.
• Review requirements and proposed changes before work begins, and coordinate quality reviews with contributors, clarifying responsibilities, timing, evidence and escalation paths.
• Perform or arrange reviews, inspections and tests, including functional, integration, regression, acceptance and exploratory testing, and verify that test environments, data and tools are suitable.
• Record test outcomes, link results to requirements and keep evidence in a consistent, accessible format.
• Identify, document, classify and track defects and nonconformities, write issue reports, assess severity and business risk, and work with contributors on fixes and retesting.
• Investigate recurring issues with structured root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions, tracking them to completion.
• Monitor quality measures such as defect levels, test coverage, rework and failure rates, analyse trends and present clear reports to stakeholders.
• Escalate significant quality risks, support release and delivery decisions, and verify that quality checks and approvals are complete before moving to the next stage.
• Review change requests and process updates for quality impact, conduct periodic process reviews or internal quality audits, and review supplier and external deliverables.
• Maintain organized, accurate and traceable quality records, and share guidance on quality standards, test practices and defect reporting with contributors.

Required profile

• At least three years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
• Sound judgment, organized record keeping and the ability to turn quality findings into clear actions.
• No prior experience managing a team or direct people management required.
