QA/QC Engineer – Civil

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer – Civil will ensure that all civil construction activities meet the required quality, safety and regulatory standards. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and project teams to conduct inspections, manage non‑conformances and deliver comprehensive quality reports.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of civil works, including concrete, steel, aggregates, asphalt, soil and other materials.
• Witness and supervise testing, verify formwork, reinforcement placement, concrete curing and compaction.
• Identify non‑conformances, issue corrective action requests and prepare detailed inspection logs and reports.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with plans, specifications and contractual requirements.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering degree with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with international standards and codes (ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI) and ability to develop Quality Assurance Plans.
• Experience supervising junior inspectors and strong report‑writing skills.

Required skills

• Inspection techniques for concrete, steel, aggregates, asphalt and soil.
• Interpretation of architectural and structural drawings.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI standards and ability to conduct audits.
• Report writing and documentation.
