Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Vector Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join its remote team. The role focuses on ensuring software quality through both manual and automated testing, supporting continuous integration and delivery within Agile and Scrum environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to increase coverage and efficiency.
• Perform thorough manual testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Create detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
• Track, document, and manage defects using bug‑tracking and test‑management tools.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to analyze requirements and advise on test strategies.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Execute regression and performance testing to verify stability and scalability.
• Utilize CI pipelines and build‑automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker) to streamline test execution.
• Maintain version control of test artifacts using Git.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Understanding of financial industry concepts is a plus, but not mandatory.
