Quality Control Specialist – Denim Washing

About the role

The Quality Control Specialist – Denim Washing will ensure that all denim garments processed at our Pindi Bhattian facility meet customer‑specified wash, shade and measurement standards. Working closely with production teams and customers, the role drives quality assurance, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement on the washing floor.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end washing quality process, supervising first‑load approvals and monitoring wash effects such as whisker, chevron, scraping, grinding, spray, ripping, abrasion and overall appearance.
• Control shade consistency and dimensional measurements throughout production to maintain uniformity.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective‑preventive actions (CAPA) for significant or recurring quality issues.
• Monitor final inspection results, ensure timely corrective actions and verify rework closures before shipment.
• Act as the Non‑Financial Escalation (NFE) point for customers, communicating feedback and quality expectations to relevant departments.
• Identify and mitigate quality risks on the shop floor through proactive monitoring and quality checks.
• Prepare daily operational and management‑level quality reports, highlighting KPIs, gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain detailed records of audits, inspections and process evaluations to ensure traceability and compliance.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently on a production floor.
• Experience in textile or denim washing quality control is preferred.
• Excellent analytical mindset for identifying process gaps and driving improvements.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with customers and internal teams.
