Quantity Surveyor

About the role

This full-time, on-site position is based in Islamabad and focuses on cost management for hospitality development projects at Vanguard Resorts. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare, review and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates, ensuring projects stay within budget and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain BOQs and detailed cost estimates for resort and tourism infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project costs, track variations and produce regular cost reports, forecasts and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects and contractors to achieve cost efficiency and value for money.
• Assist in tender documentation, evaluate bids, support contract administration and verify contractor payment claims.
• Develop and maintain cost reporting systems and ensure compliance with contractual and budgeting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Hands-on experience preparing and measuring BOQs for construction or hospitality projects.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, tendering processes and standard methods of measurement.
• Strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Prior experience in real-estate development or large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage.
