Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Grand City is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor for its Faisalabad office to manage project costs, prepare quantity take‑offs, evaluate contracts and ensure cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take‑offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Analyze project costs, produce budgeting and forecasting reports, and monitor expenditures against approved budgets.
• Review contractor quotations, tenders and variation orders, and verify bills and work progress for payment processing.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project teams for cost control and conduct site visits to verify measurements.
• Assist in contract administration, claims management and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in real estate or construction, with strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis and cost estimation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with quantity surveying software.
