Quantity Surveyor (Real Estate) - Faisalabad

About the role

Grand City is hiring a Quantity Surveyor for its Faisalabad office, working Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM. The role covers managing project costs, preparing quantity take-offs, evaluating contracts and keeping costs efficient across the project lifecycle. It suits people with strong analytical skills, construction cost management expertise and a solid understanding of quantity surveying in real estate or construction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications
• Analyse project costs and prepare budgeting and forecasting reports
• Review contractor quotations, tenders and variation orders
• Verify contractor bills and work progress for payment processing
• Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project teams on cost control
• Conduct site visits to verify measurements and completed work
• Prepare cost reports and maintain accurate project documentation
• Assist in contract administration and claims management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations and industry standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in real estate or construction
• Candidates living in or near Faisalabad are preferred

Required skills

• BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, rate analysis and cost estimation
• Construction contracts, tendering and project cost control
• MS Excel, AutoCAD and quantity surveying software
• Negotiation, contract evaluation, communication and reporting
