Draftsman - Architectural and Structural Drawings

About the role

A design team is looking for a precise, detail-oriented Draftsman who can turn complex architectural and engineering concepts into accurate technical drawings. The role covers drafting for large-scale projects such as high-rise buildings, commercial, hospitality and healthcare developments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D architectural and structural drawings from concept to final construction documents.
• Work closely with architects, engineers and BIM coordinators so that design intent is accurately represented.
• Maintain and update project drawing logs, tracking every revision.
• Ensure all drafting output meets project specifications, local building codes and internal quality standards.
• Read and coordinate with structure and MEP drawings.

Required profile

• Diploma in Architecture (DAE).
• Minimum 8 years of experience on large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with LDA and local bye-laws.
• Solid portfolio showing drafting experience for high-rise, commercial, hospitality or healthcare projects.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to deliver error-free work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.

Required skills

• Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit (BIM workflow knowledge is a strong plus).
• Ability to read and coordinate with structure and MEP drawings.
