Quantum Physics Researcher / Junior Professor (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Physics Expert (Post‑doc or Junior Professor) to join a leading research‑services organization on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and focuses on cutting‑edge quantum physics projects with applications in quantum computing, advanced materials, or theoretical modelling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate theoretical models to explain physical phenomena or optimise experimental designs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate physics‑based solutions into product development or research initiatives.
• Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present results at academic and industry conferences.
• Mentor junior researchers or students on physics‑related projects and methodologies.
• Analyse experimental data, identify trends, validate hypotheses and propose next steps.

Required profile

• PhD in Physics or a closely related field with a focus on quantum mechanics, solid‑state physics, or statistical mechanics.
• Experience in computational modelling and experimental physics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
