Regional Business Manager – Business Banking

About the role

The Regional Business Manager – Business Banking will lead the overall performance of the assigned region, driving portfolio growth, deposit mobilization, recovery and profitability in line with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise business performance across the region.
• Drive portfolio growth, deposit mobilization, recovery and revenue targets.
• Lead, mentor and monitor Area Managers, Branch Managers and business teams.
• Ensure compliance with operational policies, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor portfolio quality, PAR management and recovery efficiency.
• Identify growth opportunities and strengthen market penetration.
• Maintain high customer service standards and relationship management.
• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth operational execution.
• Analyse regional performance reports and implement corrective actions.
• Support hiring, training and development of branch teams.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• 13‑15 years of banking/micro‑finance experience with regional leadership exposure.
• Strong understanding of micro‑finance operations, business development, recovery and liability management.
• Proven leadership, team‑management and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work under targets and manage multiple branches effectively.
