Relationship Manager Assets - Islamic Banking Group

About the role

An Islamic Banking Group is recruiting experienced professionals for the position of Relationship Manager Assets. The role covers managing a portfolio of asset and trade customers, growing business through Islamic finance products and supporting the bank's asset and trade portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned asset targets.
• Manage relationships with the assigned portfolio of asset and trade customers to enhance profitability and increase business share from existing and new-to-bank customers.
• Develop business by marketing Islamic finance products.
• Prepare credit proposals and reviews, ensure compliance with SBP and the bank's credit policies, monitor risk concentration and identify problem accounts early.
• Support Islamic Banking Business Units in building their asset and trade portfolios.
• Closely monitor the health of the existing portfolio and perform other asset portfolio tasks assigned by line management.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• At least three years of banking experience, preferably in a relevant field.
• NIBAF certification in Islamic Banking is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, banking operations and policies, and of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of asset-based Islamic banking products, Shariah principles and industry standards.
• Leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
