Relationship Officer - Auto Loans (RO Autos)

About the role

The bank is looking for a Relationship Officer for auto loans who acquires customers and generates auto finance business by marketing and selling vehicle financing solutions to individual consumers. The role builds customer and dealer relationships, processes financing applications, assesses repayment capacity and manages portfolio quality to meet assigned business targets in line with the Bank's policies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire customers seeking vehicle financing to meet sales and disbursement targets.
• Build relationships with auto dealers, vehicle sellers and prospective customers to generate leads.
• Explain auto finance products, eligibility, terms and repayment schedules to customers.
• Collect, verify and process applications and supporting documents according to Bank policy.
• Assess income, creditworthiness and repayment capacity, flagging risks for review.
• Coordinate with departments to obtain approvals and ensure timely disbursement.
• Monitor the portfolio, follow up on overdue installments and coordinate with Recovery for collections.
• Maintain accurate sales, application, disbursement and portfolio reports.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies, KYC/AML requirements, internal controls and regulations.
• Support deposit mobilization and cross-selling of banking products where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in auto finance, consumer lending or retail banking sales.
• Experience in dealer networking, customer acquisition and financing documentation is an advantage.
