Remote Accountant – GL & Accrual Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our high‑performing remote team. You will be responsible for monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting the general‑ledger function across multiple business lines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage LinkedIn accrual entries for IT Staffing, Science and Goal lines, ensuring proper coding and timely posting.
• Reclassify medical insurance expense entries to the correct GL accounts, departments and cost centers.
• Record monthly PTO accruals for the Telecom line and company‑wide, maintaining accurate liability balances.
• Process severance‑related journal entries, including the third wave of payments and inter‑company allocations to the Kelly entity.
• Reclassify Denver office rent expense to the Seven‑step entity and manage shared‑services cost allocations.
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities and support the broader accounting team as needed.

Required profile

• College degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.
• Proven ability to work cooperatively within an accounting team.
• Flexible and able to adjust to changing reporting structures.
• Strong work ethic, independent problem‑solving, and effective written and verbal communication.
