Remote Frontend Web Developer – HTML & CSS

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Frontend Web Developer specialized in HTML and CSS to join a leading technology client on a contract basis. The role focuses on translating design mock‑ups into responsive, high‑performance user interfaces while ensuring cross‑browser compatibility.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain front‑end components using HTML, CSS and related technologies.
• Implement pixel‑perfect UI elements based on designs from Figma, Sketch or similar tools.
• Ensure responsive layouts and cross‑browser compatibility across desktop and mobile devices.
• Optimize front‑end performance and adhere to accessibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front‑end best practices.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS with a solid grasp of semantic markup.
• Experience applying responsive design principles and mobile‑first strategies.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) or utility frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Comfort using browser developer tools for debugging and performance tuning.
• Ability to convert design files from Figma, Sketch or comparable tools into functional code.
