Remote Mechanical Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a global manufacturing leader on a contract basis. This fully remote position involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test mechanical components and systems to meet project requirements.
• Create technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
• Perform structural, thermal, and fluid‑dynamics simulations to validate designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve cost‑effective production and maintain quality control.
• Conduct failure analysis and recommend design improvements based on test results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with CAD tools and simulation software.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and relevant industry standards.
