Remote Video Editor

About the role

AlgGrow Media, a licensed media production house and digital agency, is looking for a creative Video Editor to join its remote team. The editor will transform raw footage into polished, engaging content for social media, advertising campaigns and branded storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Review briefs, scripts, footage, audio, graphics and brand guidelines to plan effective edits.
• Assemble and refine short‑form and long‑form video content for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
• Apply pacing, transitions, color correction, sound balancing, captions, subtitles and basic motion graphics.
• Collaborate with producers and marketing stakeholders, incorporate feedback and manage revisions efficiently.
• Organize project files, maintain editing standards and deliver accurate exports within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency with professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro).
• Practical understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition and audience‑retention techniques.
• Ability to edit social media reels, short‑form ads, promotional videos, interviews and branded content.
• Excellent attention to detail, file organization and deadline management.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote, feedback‑driven environment.
